ABOUT LUKE
For years, the Enschede-based singer/songwriter Luke, along with his former band The Road Home, covered considerable ground in the European music scene. They shared the stage with big names like Blackberry Smoke (USA), Danny Vera (NL), Toy Dolls (UK), The Elvis Concert (USA), and Vandenberg’s Moonkings. Luke's heart beats to the rhythm of classics - the timeless tunes of Elvis Presley, the haunting melodies of Roy Orbison, and the soulful harmonies of The Platters; they are among his greatest inspirations.
Continuously dressed in his distinctive 50’s look and with his old western guitar under his arm, Luke is supported live by The Golden Tears (with members from bands like Bökkers, Ten Times A Million, and Tricklebolt).
With his broken, pure voice, he takes the listener on a tour through his thoughts. "They often revolve around vulnerable subjects that I have personally experienced, but also ones that others can relate to or empathize with, such as having a broken heart, self-acceptance, temptations, and desires." Luke Christoffel, a troubadour of the 21st century with a heart that beats to the rhythm of a bygone era, is ready to make his mark.
